Terms of Service

Last updated: May 2026

These Terms govern your use of ShelfMerge, a Shopify app that finds duplicate products in your catalog and helps you merge them. By installing or using ShelfMerge you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't install the app.

1. Who provides ShelfMerge

ShelfMerge is operated by Prompt Critical, LLC, a New York limited liability company. Mailing address: PO Box 524133, Bronx, NY 10452. For questions about these Terms, email support@shelfmerge.com.

2. Your Shopify data

When you install ShelfMerge, you grant us read access to your Shopify product catalog and write access to merge products at your direction. We never modify products without you confirming the merge in our dashboard. You can uninstall at any time from your Shopify admin; uninstalling revokes our access and triggers GDPR data-deletion webhooks.

3. Plans and billing

The Free plan supports catalogs up to 50 products at no charge. Paid plans are billed through Shopify (Shopify Billing API) at the rate shown on our pricing page. You can downgrade or cancel from your Shopify admin or our Settings page.

4. Independence from Shopify

ShelfMerge is an independent app and is not endorsed by, sponsored by, or affiliated with Shopify Inc. Shopify is a registered trademark of Shopify Inc.

5. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability for any claim arising out of your use of ShelfMerge is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We provide ShelfMerge on an "as is" basis and disclaim warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

6. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced via email to the account owner at least 14 days before taking effect.
